This websites chronicles the Sánchez Castañeda family.

Why did I chose this name? I think of my family in terms of the branches of my grandmother and her four sisters. Their maiden name was Sánchez. And looking at their parents, I see my great-grandmother Vita as the matriarch of the family. Her maiden name was Castañeda. Following Spanish naming customs, the five girls were all Sánchez Castañeda: Antonia, Soledad, Jesusita, Lupe and Lorenza.
